Lanherne Guest House is a classic early 1900s Grahamstown/ Makhanda home located at 7 Harrismith Street in the Westhill suburb which provides easy access to all Private Schools, walking distance to the Amazwi Literature Museum and Rhodes University. The Guest House consists of a 7 Roomed Bed and Breakfast with four-star standards. We also offer a full solar system for load shedding as well as water tanks with our own borehole, off street parking and Wi-fi is always also available.

Lanherne Guest House has 4 private en-suite rooms in the main guest house which leads onto a lovely veranda, 2 semi self-catering units with private entrances and 1 full self -catering unit with private entrance. The main house provides 1 large superior room and 3 ensuite rooms with the option of a family unit. 6 of our beds are King-size, 1 is queen, and twin options can be arranged upon request for groups stays.
